 Joy Adegbile, M.D., MPH, FAAFP is the Medical Director of the Geriatrics & Family Medicine Center, Anti-Aging Medical Spa, Jo'lami Boutique & Spa and Brookstone Medical Research located in Columbus, Georgia.
Dr. Adegbile has extensive years of experience in Family Medicine, Anti-Aging Medicine, Geriatrics, Medical Research and Medical Spa & Wellness. She is very active in the communities she serves.
Aging is something that affects everyone at some point in their lives. Dr. Joy Adegbile believes in taking care of your needs both inside and out. She provides state of the art treatment in skin care and body enhancements while treating your medical needs.
Dr. Joy Adegbile has been a Board Certified Family Physician since 1996, Board Certified in Managed Care Medicine since 1998, and received her Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, in 1997. She has practiced medicine internationally and locally since 1986 and has received numerous awards, accolades, and publishings. Dr. Adegbile has also served as a Congress Delegate for the Georgia Association of Family Physicians. She has trained with some of the very best authorities in the field of Anti-Aging Medicine.
Dr. Adegbile is a recipient of the prestigious award "Fellow, American Academy of Family Physicians" (FAAFP). This award recognizes AAFP physicians who have distinguished themselves among their colleagues, as well as in their communities, by their service to Family Medicine, advancement of health care to the American people, and by their professional development through medical education and research. Fellows of the AAFP are recognized as Champions of Family Medicine. They are the physicians who make Family Medicine the premier specialty in service to their community and profession. Being a Fellow signifies not only 'tenure', but one's additional work in the community, within organized medicine, within teaching, and a greater commitment to continuing professional development and research.
